Yas Express Y6 Y7
Yas Express shuttles from Dubai to Yas Island: the old Y6 and Y7, the D routes listed in January 2026, and the ticket you need.
Yas Express Y6 and Y7 (Dubai shuttles)
Older Yas Express timetables listed the Y6 and Y7 as free shuttles from Dubai to Yas Island, leaving Dubai in the morning. Sources disagree on their pickup points: Deira City Centre for the Y6, and Ibn Battuta Mall or Mall of the Emirates for the Y7.
Property Finder's January 2026 guide no longer uses these numbers. It lists the Dubai shuttles as routes D1 to D16. Visit Abu Dhabi's Yas Express page doesn't list any Dubai shuttle. If you're coming from Dubai, check the current pickup points and times with Yas Island before you travel, and book a seat if they ask you to.

Who can ride
The Yas Express is free. Visit Abu Dhabi calls it a complimentary shuttle and doesn't mention any condition. Property Finder (January 2026) says you board by showing a ticket for a Yas Island attraction or a hotel voucher. Have one ready.
Yas Express routes and times change from season to season, and current sources don't agree on them. Check the timetable with your hotel or at the Yas Island information desks before you plan around a departure. For public buses to Yas Island, see Yas Island by bus.
