Correction, October 2026: an earlier version of this article said CityBus launched the X1 and X3 in 2025, with a 350 fils fare and a new "Kuwait City Express". The Airport Express routes have run for several years, and we could not confirm the fare or the city express service, so we have rewritten the article with what our route data and the airport's published information show.

CityBus runs five Airport Express routes to Kuwait International Airport. In our route data all five run 24 hours and the buses have a luggage area, Wi-Fi and USB charging.

💳 Fares
We haven't found an official CityBus fare table for the Airport Express. Riders report fares from about 500 fils to 1 KD, sometimes higher late at night. Have small change ready, or check in the CityBus app before you travel. KPTC's daytime airport routes 13, 99 and 501 cost 250 fils (300 fils on some route 99 trips), per Kuwait International Airport.
