The Friday Market, or Souq Al Juma, is Kuwait's big open-air market for new and second-hand goods: clothes, electronics, furniture, carpets, tools and household things, with food stalls too. It's in the industrial district of Al Rai and runs Thursday to Saturday (Kuwait Times, May 2026). We couldn't find current opening hours from a reliable source, so go in the daytime and check locally before a late visit.

From Salmiya, the 66 or 66X is the simplest. From Kuwait City, take the 13 from Mirqab. From the airport, the 99 and 13 both stop at the Friday Market, between 4:30 AM and 11:45 PM (see the airport bus guide).
From Fahaheel, Mahboula and the south
No route in our data runs straight from Fahaheel to the Friday Market. The easiest way is to change in Farwaniya:
- Take route 106 from Fahaheel, through Mahboula, Fintas and 360 Mall, to Farwaniyah Co-Op.
